Hi all

Am looking for an Atari 800XL power supply. I purchased 2 Atari 800XLs on trademe (1 working, 1 not). Gonna try & get 1 working model out of them.

There are a couple of international sites that sell them, but because they are so heavy - international shipping makes it wayyyyy to expensive to ship.

So if anyone has a spare power supply hanging around, let me know.

Am in Christchurch btw.

cheers
Daryn

You don't want to use an old Atari power supply -- not worth the risk when it's so easy to replace with a modern one.

Just get any new 5 V DC 1.5 A (or better) power supply and replace connector with DIN 7.

Atari PSU specs:

7 pin DIN connectors (pack of 6, free shipping):

Yes, I'd also urge caution on old Atari PSUs. Some might be ok, but I've had experience with a faulty one which blew a few RAM chips.
