looking for some or a tape for one of these.. MSX svi-777 stringy floppy?? any help out there

I didn't realise there WAS a stringy floppy device for an MSX machines. I'm surprised. Disk drives were fairly cheap by then and quite reliable. I wonder they bothered with these?

ok... so guess what... i found the original tape and 2 extras.. but now the 738 wont start... oh well diag time...

oh also i need a new psu for it too as the 16v AC is dead... could i use a 16 - 18v DC psu in the same socket as it will just think its a half wave and not switching...
