External SCSI case

by mrad01 » Thu Nov 01, 2012 8:15 am

I've just picked up a *mint* platinum Mac Plus which came out of the University of Otago. Everything is in near perfect condition!

Of course, the floppy disk drive is already getting tiring - so if anyone has even an empty SCSI drive case - I'd be keen to buy it.

Looking for a case with a internal power supply, Centronics 50 on the outside, with a 50 pin ribbon internally. Doesn't have to match the footprint of the Plus - but if anyone has one of those....that'd be cool!

Let me know here or via DM

I am also looking for an external SCSI case with double Centronics 50 connectors to install a 4.5 GB SCSI 1 drive.
Got a master plan:
1 - Get drive and case working, hopefully with the SCSI switch working too.
2 - Partition with Hard Disk Tool Kit and password each partition with a different separate OS on each.
3 - Add OS and Application installers to a Data partition and finally have a SCSI digital toolkit ... again ... like I had in 1998!
