Does anyone have any idea as to what these monitors are?

http://www.trademe.co.nz/computers/moni ... 435743.htm

I'm in need of an old monitor that does composite video in.

Sure do, although all the microfiche projectors I've seen are portrait.

Try a $1 14" TV set off Trademe

The monitor I have for general use is a mint 14" panasonic portable left on the side of the road for free pickup, its great, has PAL & NTSC and two composite inputs , even better has UHF for specy's and the likes.

But if your going to run an 80 column text picture then you need higher resolution, even some of my green screens cant display 80 text.

The two microfiche projectors appear to have bird droppings on and around them, I know pidgeons like to sit on the beams in those country sheds, there is a vintage car club out that way and they have the same steel shed and pidgeons crap over everything from above on the roof beams.

Another option for those with a modern TV / home theatre without composite - but say has component video in - get an old VCR.
I used the component video in + audio in sockets on the back of my home theatre receiver to hook up the VCR, then use the composite in plugs on the front of the VCR to hook up old C64's, VIC20 etc

VCR also means when you find those old VHS tapes for 50c, you can actually watch them too.

Sorry can't really help with a composite in monitor, but if anyone needs some 19" 1280x1024 (guesstimate) paper white displays with fibre optic inputs - let me know.
