Apple Lisa II with Profile

Price is high, but you kind of expect that with a Lisa.

My biggest concern is the corrosion which is visible on the connectors, I wonder how much internal damage the old battery has done internally?

Could be worse... at least he's putting it out there. The case looks pristine, so it could have been a front photo with "untested... I don't know anything about it".

Ah yeah, he's all good with the auction. I'm sure he'd take an internal picture anyway if someone asks. I'll be curious to see what it ends up selling for.

Yes. Potential buyers should understand that the keyboard shown won't work with a Lisa though.

My Lisa had some really bad battery damage - but after 12 hours of cleaning and rewiring of traces - it ended up running. And still does.
Don't let that put you off.

Just re-read that thread. It's a good one.

I think the biggest issue for this potential buyer is likely to be finding a keyboard. ...and finding one that works even more so. By coincidence I had a spare working Lisa keyboard but sold it to a U.S. collector about 3 months ago.

The case looks very clean indeed. There seems to be a spare card (SCSI?) in there as well.

He's added more photos and it looks like there is surprisingly minimal battery damage. Pretty nice project for someone (if they can get a keyboard).

Looking at those photos shows the bottom motherboard will be pretty badly damaged. It's a very basic motherboard, so would be worth repairing

Does anyone know how much it went for? And where I could buy one in NZ?
