Ouch Tezza! Nice save though!

Okay so checking versus http://www.vintagemacworld.com/drives.html, I'll definitely leave them as is ;)

The pair are a Unidisk 5.25" and an Apple 3.5" External - from a IIe Platinum and a IIgs, respectively. So apparently if I connect the 5.25 to the Mac, voltage and controller issues could cause violence... the more you know eh? :)

That's the web page I use as a reference. Just goes to show - you should never shove a 5.25" drive where a ... no never mind. I'll leave that there.

Not matching up the plug with the pins on the disk controller does it (been there, done that!).

I vaguely remember something along the lines of the "unidisk 3.5" not liking a mac either... but taking out the port on the mac.

I'm not sure of the details, and normally I don't like participating in spreading FUD(fear uncertainty and doubt), but sometimes when there's an alarm bell ringing it pays to comment. :)
"dsakey" on trademe. Apple II's are my thing.

Oh bollocks. I've got the memory of a sieve... I completely forgot to send these out! You still need em lizardb0y? I've got a C64 power supply to send to WelshWizard too, so might as well get em both jacked up at the same time.
