Apple Lisa 2 for how much?

Here is a surprising e-bay one.

A Lisa 1, well...they are rare, but a Lisa 2? I would have thought maybe $2,600 at the most. Anyway, we will see if it gets any bids but AppleMania certainly has some sellers listing high.

Kidding himself, hoping some overblown idiot collecting vintage machines as an investment will think that's the going rate.

There are certainly a number of idiot sellers on eBay - check out http://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-Sord-Co ... 0697951152. Ok, it's rare enough, but very rough and not working - that screen should say "SET DISKETTE AND STRIKE ANY KEY" not have a heap of wavy lines. If any purchaser manages to get it going they'll still need to find a copy of Sord FDOS that's got the right load addresses etc for the M243.
