Has anyone repaired a corrogated carboard box before?

Postby glc on Sun Sep 11, 2016 10:22 pm

I made a recent purchase on TM,and I received the computer it was very clean and tidy (and it works)which was good, but there was a box and styrofoam packaging included with it which was not stated in the auction.

Anyway the box seems to have been stored in a damp place such that it has de-laminated and the corrogations seperate from the inside and outside

I know it's probably not worth the effort , but has anyone repaired a corrogated cardboard box before?
Any suggestions? I'm thinking that something like watered down PVA might work?
thanks

i used to make corro board yeas ago.. and its a starch type glue, but use pva and some stiff card as a backing to fix it. don,t water it down as it will stay wet for too long and may stain the cover.

i use pva on record sleeves when i need to repair them and it works great.

i get the artists paint brush's sets from $2 shops and use those
