Repairing Commodore PETs

Anyone on the forum had fun times repairing Commodore Pets? They seem rather touchy. For my latest project I decided to try to fix a non-working PET board, using my working PET as a reference. Big mistake. I ended up with TWO non-working PET boards.

After much work and gnashing of teeth they are both fixed now (whew!). I'm writing up that adventure soon for anyone who might be interested. I did learn some lessons about working with Commodore PETs which may be useful to others.

Very finicky indeed.... they're a Commodore product! It's a design feature! :)
