Go all out on the VLB, worth it. I think I have an Intel OverDrive Pentium somewhere that might fit that too :)

That boot rom is most appreciated.. I now have a 386DX40 booting from a 2GB partition on an 8GB drive. Now just trying to decide whether it's worth the effort to construct a "W98SE DOS" installation (FAT32) or just keep it DOS 6.22

It's also highly amusing seeing Wolf3D on a 55" LCD.... a blast from a time when I was dreaming of being able to afford a 17" SVGA. :D
