Hi
I was pointed to http://www.jameco.com for some 4116-15,DIP-16 Ram
as used in the TRS80 Model I and III and various other machines.

The price is really good @ $0.99 USD per chip or $0.89 for 10 or more. These are new old stock.
I ordered 24 for a total cost of $37.16 USD including shipping so $1.54 USD each
So I got 48K of brand new chips for $37.16 USD

For those that are interested the URL is here

Regards
Jman

I'm tempted to order 100 or more if anyone wants to get some?

Assuming the shipping is similar that would make them about US$0.93 each landed in NZ. (Depends what happens with the shipping. If the shipping were to double, it could be up to US$1.05 each.)

These are always handy to have around. I'd be in for 20.

I'm in for say 30-50 of these too. I see they have refurb 4164-150s and 41256-150s at the same price as well which should be plenty fast enough for most old 8 bits. For some of the later machines there are more expensive 41464-10s at $1.45 in lots over 100.

I ordered some 2114's for my PET on the 8th of this month from unicorn electronics. I selected the surface freight option for freight = $0.00 .
they arrived today, just over a week. not bad , eh

They sell 4116's too. There is a minimum order of $25, but thats easy enough to fill....
cheers
