Hi guys,
I've got a Mattel Aquarius with original manuals, some cartridges (can't remember what they are right now, will be able to check in the weekend), the cassette recorder and the expansion module. The expansion module is in the original box and includes 2 game controllers. Basically I have everything in this picture: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Mattelaquarius.jpg

Just trying to get an idea of what it's worth, and if it's a decent amount I may be willing to sell it. Otherwise I'll hold on to it for a while longer probably.

Emailed James about the expander but he is reluctant to break the package up. Anyone reading this who wants the whole thing, feel free to get in touch with James.

I'm still in the process of assessing what the condition is and taking photos, but basically I have the main unit, the mini expander with the 2 game controllers (boxed, box is in average condition), the cassette recorder, the simplified instruction cards and guide to home computing (the manual) - these books are in quite good condition, a 16k memory cartridge, an application (game?) cartridge called Utopia and an application cartridge called FinForm. The plastic of the main unit is quite discoloured (as beige plastic usually is), but I fired it up this afternoon and it still goes. The RF switch (plugs into the tv and switches from tv to computer) that I have is not the original, it is from a SEGA, and seems to have loose connections, so I will have to look into soldering it or something.

I'll get some pictures up in the next few days, and maybe put it up on Trademe for you all to fight over :P

OK, it's up on Trademe with pictures.

After considering holding onto it for a bit longer in hope of the value increasing, I decided it's probably better to sell it while it is still in good condition rather than leave it in a wardrobe to deteriorate. Best that someone who will take care of it owns it.

So get bidding! :P
