Building the catalogue...

Now I know I've told a few of you that I have spares that I'm prepared to part with but I infrequently get back to anyone quick enough... the sheer quantity of stuff I have is most of the reason why. So I've been doing what any nerd worth a grain would do: I've built a database. The eventual goal is that the database will be shared online so people can see what I have when they like. So far I've loaded in the motherboards, video cards, sound cards and network cards. It's taken two full evenings so far to get that much done... there's still drives, processors, chassis/cooling/power parts and memory to sort, and that's just to get the PC parts done. For an idea of the scale of this operation...

Image

That's less than half of the motherboards... total count so far in the database is 155 motherboards, 34 soundcards, 47 modems, 35 network cards and 72 video cards... and we haven't even counted non-PC hardware yet...

So if you need some spares and you're happy to wait a while, once the cataloguing process is complete I'll get the whole lot uploaded and share a link! :)

About 80% working. Oldest board is a Harris 286, newest is an HP/ASUS with a Core 2 Quad :)

Once the catalogue is complete there's going to be a massive testing run. It's going to be insane.
