I'm after something that is :-
- reasonably airtight. The moisture situation is not ideal where I live (old house.) and fixing "where I live" is next year's agenda. My temporary solution will involve plastic boxes and silica-gel.
- reasonably square, uniform and stackable, while containing computers, so they'll need to be reasonably strong. (not the absolute cheapest and meanest)
- able to contain an Apple II Series computer so a storage dimension of at least 12cm High x 39cm Wide x 47cm Long. Preferably long enough to contain a pair of "Disk II" drives (16cm Wide x 22cm Long x 11cm High) and some power cords as well.
- a series of them that might be a standard stock item for more than one order... i.e. When I go back to buy another one in six months or a year, I can still get the same one, and they still stack uniformly.
These looked good until I discovered that the advertised dimensions were "external dimensions" (and even then slightly overestimated), rather than the storage size.
These look possible, but 60L seems large, and I suspect the warehouse doesn't order the same of anything more than once.
Has anyone got any recommendations?
