I picked this one up at a Garage Sale a month or so ago and thought I'd post both pictures of it and also some details based on paperwork that came with it around its intended use.

The unit and tapes inside appear unused. The tapes are still all shrink wrapped.

The history of this unit (based on the receipts inside) are as follows:

Shipped 03/05/1990 to a woman in Auckland as part of a study course called "Personal Computing" by a company called "ICS Australasia"
Probably these guys? http://skillscentre.com.au/about-us/

Unfortunately while the tapes are present the cassette unit other course material is missing apart from a list of modules covered.
Clearly they didn't follow through with completing the course!

Wow, never even been plugged in from the looks of it. Hell, you don't even see boxes in that kind of shape anymore. Amazing.

LOL! I don't think I've ever seen a machine so clean from a garage sale.

Radar, have you have this machine up and going yet?

That's in amazing condition, you know its good when the cables appear to be tied  up as originally shipped, and the plug doesn't have scratches on it, I scored a c64c setup like that last year, the cables appear to be folded and tied as it comes new and there where no scratches on the plugs so it left it in the box as it is, its to good to take out :-) and it may have never been used!

It would be really worth while to get this machine up and running, some of the software on the CoCo3 is amazing, some of the homebrew software is of excellent quality also.

I tested this machine out recently and it all works 100%, suspect it was the first time it was ever turned on ex-factory given the power cord was still cable tied.
The issue I have is a lack of software for it, it just came with the sealed educational tapes shown.

I need to find time to look at something like DriveWire 4 and experiment with remote loading.
