Old consoles vs modern

Postby acsi on Tue Dec 27, 2016 5:51 pm

So it was the day before Christmas and I decided to get out the Fountain Force 2 to show the kids (actually to test it as I hadn't done so yet).

The Kids were hooked. Analogue joysticks and all. Fountains Force Olympics were a hit.

Its been interesting to watch them after Christmas day as the household suddenly shot up in the console stakes from a PS2 (still going strong) to a PS4. Took ages to setup accounts for everyone and setup the machine.
Cool graphics etc but the excitement levels are around the same.

So I am left with the feeling that the old Fountain Force and 2600 are probably just as entertaining and by far quicker to get going with than their modern counterparts.
