for displays on a budget. I bought ten of them, the constraint being how long it will take to assemble them. I'm visualising rows of them for an exhibition on the cheap. I'm not sure how long the sale is on for.

The dimensions are 1370H x 720W x 300D

Are those the Amazon galvanised shelving units? I bought several of them, and the slightly more expensive 5 shelf white units some years ago. They're not very stiff, and trend to twist when weight is applied. None of them ever failed, but I think they're best with light loading only.

I splashed out on a few of the Hammerlock units and found them much better, albeit much more expensive too.

I've got a couple, agreed a bit light weight for holding heavy items, fine for lighter items like 80s console-type computers and the like.

Yes, they're the Amazon ones.

I intended to place them two deep and spread the weight across them, but what really makes them work is the left over nuts & bolts (were there suppose to be any left over????) which are sufficient to secure the two units together. The units have gone from wobbly to somewhat more secure (or I guess if the front one topples, they both do.)

One on their own does feel quite insecure but they do feel a bit better when packed down with a bit of weight. I have one of the white units which came from a recycle shop this year and that one is slightly sturdier.

Just make sure you put your monitors on the bottom shelves :)
