Got the machines, now for the accessories

Postby tezza on Mon Oct 10, 2011 8:17 pm

You know how it is. You have a list of classic/vintage computers you want to get. You get those and more. Then you see those extra accessories you just can't resist.

Not a big deal to most people but a nostalgic blast for me. And that's half of what this hobby is, yes?

Nice! I like that crisp LCD not bad for its age 27+ years old...

Yep I totally agree! - you have to have the accessories! Recently I picked up a Koala pad from the states for use with my Apple II+ (a sort of chunky tablet) yet to get around to firing it up.

Great to have the software and accessories, now all I need to do is make the time to use them... Inspirational stuff Tezza keep up the good work ;-)

The Koala pad. Earl Evens covered this accessory on his retrobits podcast. Looks like a device which was somewhat ahead of its time.

Absolutely! I've involved in some local theatre at the moment which is using most of my spare time i.e. my vintage computer time! I'm looking forward to when it's over and I can get back to playing with my toys.
