Anyone up for a summer National meet in Wellington?

There are group discounts to the Game Masters exhibition ($14 ea for groups of 10+) and the Dowse exhbition is free.
With these coinciding with many people's summer holidays, it occurs to me that this might be a great opportunity to have some sort of small national get-together in Wellington. I'm thinking of a small private gathering of enthusiasts.
If enough people express an interest, I'd be happy to look into things like accommodation and other trips and activities that could be of interest. Trip in a vintage Wellington City bus to the Silverstream Steam Railway perhaps?
