Here's my haul of older kit (anything with an * I was given):

8 bit
Sharp PC 1500*
NEC PC8201A*

32/24/16 bit
Amiga 600 (a later non HDD variant which came with a nice collection of software)
MITEK 386DX25* with maths co-pro(Dos/PCGeos box)
Olivete PCS 40 SX/25* (486SX25* -no hdd at the moment. The mobo has VESA slots so may transplant the mobo in a more suitable case so I can make use of the VESA video and multi i/o card I have. Candidate upgrading to a Kingston OD processor or DX2/50-DX2/66)
Generic 486DX2/50(Dos/wfw)
DECpc V+ 425 with 486DX2/66 cpu (OS/2 v3 Warp Connect)
Compaq CDS 524 all-in-one with 486DX/66 (Dos plus whatever I can throw at it. Will be throwing the WFW add-on plus TCP update)
Acer 486DX2/66 (originally had a DX2/50 in it-Pure dos box)
RiscPC 600 x 2 (one has an A700 card and Risc OS 4.32 and the other standard with 3.4 roms and PC card)
RiscPC 700 (2 slice wth scsi podule, otherwise standard setup)
RiscPC Stongarm x 2 (one will be scrapped as the mobo has issues but has 4.02 roms, decent sized hdd and 2meg vram to transfer to another machine)

Basicly plenty to keep me happy. I'm leaning more to Acorn stuff these days. Also have a later machines from an IBM celery 400 with Windows 98 Gold on up to XP boxes but I spend most of my quality time primarily on the 3/486s and RiscPCs.

I've got couple super socket 7* machines to test out larger drives before attacking them with DDO software. One will most likely become an OS/2 v4 box. Lots of ISA cards spare, socket 7/ss7 mobos/PCI peripherals( learnt a lesson from tossing out good ISA cards in another life), a few 17"CRTs(generally can't stand anything smaller-the cds 524 being the exception of course) and some RiscPC spares. Have a 286 board but for some reason it dumps the serial ports after being switched on for a while. I'm holding on to that in case the onboard ram comes in handy for something else. Got given an Intergraph TD-310 pentium pro and attempted to get some SUN boxen but the TM seller disappeared off the face of the planet with my dosh. That's left a bitter taste.

Plenty of manuals and the full set, including binders, of INPUT magizine. I also collect PC OS sets from around 1990 on up to early 2000s, have a few older LInux retail packs. My dedicated Linux box is a slimline HP with P200mmx cpu.

Almost forgot there's a discarded Dell at work I've been meaning to bring home. It literally has some real large bugs in it......

I have an Acer 486DX2 as well, think it's a 66 (might be a 50) - does yours claim to be a 486SX on soft-resets (CTRL/ALT/DEL) too?

Not that I'm aware of. Funny thing is I purchased it from the same person I bought the first RiscPC I got locally. Didn't seem to be the same demand in that class of system back then as there is now. He had quite a bit of interesting stuff, which in hind sight I should've snapped up.

I was up around 180ish at last count. It's not a firm number, as many are parts donors rather than complete machines.

Last weekend I received a kind donation two more ZX81s, a ZX Spectrum rubber keyboard, a Spectrum+ and a Sega Master System (original model), along with books, tapes and a few peripherals. Beauty!

I'm basically a Microbee collector and have a few plus heaps of software and documentation/manuals. The only non-Microbee is an Applix :

Microbee - original 2mHz 16k
Microbee IC
2x Microbee 56k
Microbee 64k
Microbee 128k
Microbee 128k Premium
Microbee Premium Plus+ (this is a new unit but 2/3rds of it is vintage)
Microbee Teleterm
Microbee Portable PC (their first MS-DOS machine)

Applix 1616 (with SCSI HD)

A few more machines added in the last couple of months or so-

2 x Acorn A4000s
1 X Archimedes 410/1
1 Compaq Presario 5522 P75 based unit , similar to the CDS 524, running the original Windows 95.

Two nice computers. Do they both work? Welcome to the forums.

What's next on the list? Are there any specific models you are looking for?

hah I have a 56SX as well, IDE and a normal coin battery, easy to keep alive compared to earlier versions. I put OS/2 2.11 on mine, but think that might've been a mistake, it's quite slow. Still no Apple II (or even a working Apple at all actually) though.

Add another A4000 and RiscPC to my list. Yeah I know, I'm hooked on the bloody things.

Dos/wfw would be a better bet on the IBM. Networking it would be more straight forward as well. This is coming from a closet OS/2 fan. Don't forget PC Geos (the latest incarnation,BreadBox Ensemble, has a trial version) either.

haha good work cal, if you find a Haunted House disk let me know (I haven't found it yet, should possibly look harder).

Yeah that version of OS/2 was a bit much for it. It's fine to use but the load time is quite poor. I just wanted one machine with OS/2 and wanted networking support since it has an MCA network card in it - PCnic II.

After this weekends work with an angle grinder I can add an IBM 5170 to my list. It's at home, booting DOS 5 like a champion.
It's about as authentic as a modern pop star, but looks the business.

I'll see what's in the box of disks I'm getting from Jimmy up norf. Put a silly bid in not expecting to win the software. It just goes to so the Gods were kind on Sunday. Quite keen to give the BBC emulator a shot.

Number of computers I have about the place:

16 Apple //e
6 Apple //europlus
5 Apple GS
2 Apple //c
5 Macintosh
4 Acorn A3000
1 Apricot
1 Pied Piper
3 Spectrum
2 VZ200
4 Vic-20
2 Commodore 16
6 Commodore 64
1 Commodore 64c
2 Commodore 128
1 Amiga 500
3 Atari ST
1 Atari 600xl
3 BBC
1 Electron
1 System 80
1 Video Genie
1 Dick Smith Wizard
1 Amstrad 464
1 Amstrad PC8088s

Total: 74 computers + a load of old Desktop PC's

Plus loads of monitors/printers/drives etc

Plus a decent collection of game consoles. ( for example I have 4 Atari 2600 )

If I counted every computer at my place (not including my laptop & Macbook) it
could just about total 100 units. :D

I also have around 300 +/- 8 bit computer Books and computer Manuals.
