Hanging with Terry

I got a chance to hook up with Terry today.

Terry, it was great to finally meet you, and see some of your collection.
It was also great to help you with your Lisa's. It was fantastic to see the Lisa 2/10 finally working. The experience of finally fixing something and seeing it 100% functional is great, even via proxy.
Enjoy the IDEfile, and if you have any questions about it, please don't hesitate to ask...I do recommend contacting the designer and building one yourself, they are a nice piece of hardware for sure.

Enjoyed the afternoon also Phil. Great to get my Lisa 2/10 to the boot stage (for those reading, it was a faulty IWM 344-0041 chip on my machine). Once I source that IC I can move forward to getting the Widget up and going. It might just need some exercise as you say. I'm now really regretting trashing that acid-damaged IIGS board without removing more chips. It would have had one of those IWM chips on it! Of well, live and learn.

It was also great to see the (impressive) Lisa Office suite booting on the Lisa 2 via the IDEfile. It makes me want to fix the Lisa 2/10 even more.

Better send you the index to that System 80 tape before I forget. If you ever need the equivalent WAV files to load via computer soundcard, let me know. BTW, the pinouts for the monitor and cassette DINS are at this URL - page 13

I particularly enjoyed seeing your Ohio Scientific. I wouldn't mind seeing if I can find one myself. May a bit difficult, but worth a shot.

Thanks for the tape Index and the pinouts. That helps a lot.

I just emailed you some webpages with good resources for your Lisa, and an explanation of how to use Xenix commands.
