Commodore Pet Wanted

Postby tezza on Fri Aug 15, 2008 4:14 pm

Hi,

I'm searching for a working Commodore Pet in good condition, either an original 2001 model, or something like a 4032 or similar.

I'd get in touch with Alan Gilchrist, he's by far the most likely candidate to have a spare PET :)

I've exchanged the odd letter with Alan, and if I remember rightly, I've seen pics of his huge Commodore collection.

Yes, someone I should touch base with.

Ok, got a nice PET 3032 , but it needs a replacement motherboard. If anyone can help, please let me know.

I managed to source another motherboard (see http://www.classic-computers.org.nz/blog/2009-01-27-repairing%20a%20commodore%20pet.htm) so no replacement now required.

Not an original one. I do have a modern replacement though in the PetDisk. It does the job but it's not quite the same aesthetic of course.

Yes, I could be. I'll private message you and we can continue the conversation.
