Sounds pretty good to me. However a couple of things. One problem with a public event is that we might not get too much time to actually visit each others' displays and/or interact with each other. I'd like to have a good look at your Dragon and Oric but if I spend the whole day showing off my Lisa and System 80 to the public (and guarding them FROM the public) I may not be able to circulate as much as I'd like. Perhaps this could be solved by opening to the public later in the morning rather than first thing to give ourselves a chance to network/see what we've got.
The other thing is the date. I'm not sure I will be able to make it on a weekend in November simply because of other "out-of-work" commitments which are already booked this year. And I would really want to come. Sometime in February 2012 or beyond would be far better for me and I could probably help more with the organising too.
