OZ E-bay Apple IIGS collection

Postby tezza on Sun Nov 27, 2011 9:04 am

Anyone want to take out a second mortgage for this?

I question whether most collectors have that kind of money sitting around..

70k for a pile of Apple II stuff... sheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeit, I might like me a IIgs but I could actually buy a house outright with that much cash down here.
Just the local Commodore hobo and middle-aged PC hoarder.

Given the current prices (or even a significant portion of current prices) that might actually be reasonable, once you split it all up. But I doubt that much of a "collection" of IIgs machines is desirable enough to sell as a single lot.

I won't be biting. :)
"dsakey" on trademe. Apple II's are my thing.

70K gets you a reasonable house down here WelshWizard ;)

The problem is that it's one big lot - who knows physically how much gear that is. Even if you wanted to shell the 70k, it could be so much gear that it'll cost you a mint to get it over.
