Yeah DX4s with 95 wasn't unusual early in the piece, but that phase passed reasonably quickly as Pentium technology came down in price. 95 and Pentiums were like peas and carrots, it's not a coincidence that 95 OSR2.5's USB support turned up right about when the Intel Triton II chipsets gained USB support
By the time the Pentium II/Celeron family started to phase in, Windows 98 showed up.
Of course such incredulous timing didn't last whatsoever... the current generation hardware refreshes faster than the operating systems by a good deal. Oh for the simpler times...
