Price for a non-genuine made me run the other way and you'd want to be near Taupo to bid, but I've seen barely any (I have a trademe thing that emails me every day for IBM or XT) of these, and another turns up straight away!

Looks nice though.

Edit: and awww that's a WD MFM controller :( http://www.trademe.co.nz/computers/vint ... 483853.htm - also spotted an IBM PS/2 VGA on there, which I'd grab but don't want to pay postage, just in case anyone was after one for a PS/2.

after the 486 reaching $105 he thinks he has Gold , even with the high price of gold I don't think he will be able to melt it down for such an amount.

$300 MFM = ebay?, bit of a different market over here :/ I have three machines coming down that cost me under 300 for all with working MFM gear and that made me cringe still. Think he might've also been jumping up and down when he saw the IBM go for $205.

Figure I shouldn't make new topics everytime I find something cool:

Drop scanner, run with laptop:

why they're not listed seperately I don't know :/
perhaps it's just my hatred for scanners talking.

Would like that laptop, but can't pickup and don't *need* it as such. Just hope it goes to someone who'll look after it.

The scanner is a Mustek 600, so you're talking very late 90s technology, with a laptop that looks like late 80s. Strange...
