Me!
I'm very interested in that white one with the 3 drives.
Anyone have any ideas?

I asked the lady about any history of them (include the C128 I also bought), and she said:

"I won the Commodore in a TV quiz show. Possibly "Credit Card"?? I can't recall which one as my husband and I were in several of these TV game shows in the late 1970s and early 80s.

As for the TRS 80, my husband bought it from the owner of Palmside Motors in ChCh in about 1980 for $1000 and paid $300 to upgrade it from Level 1 to Level 2 Basic. He also built up an interface kit and did the experiments in the books "How to interface your TRS 80." There is also a System 80 which works and he thinks was given to him rather than being a purchase. A technician friend from the Polytech here gave him some parts and documentation. There was a thriving TRS80 club in ChCh and a lot of the software came via that club."

I have no idea what the white one is (a highly modified LNW kit?) but that's a good '80s haul. Hope you can get it cleaned up and going.

Cool, I hope you got it at a discount from the ask price. while I often look at the high priced auctions (as it was originally listed) and judge people to be selfish opportunists (cough cough, Rob1), there's always the case that sometimes people just think things are worth a price based on what the items originally cost.

I love that the C64 was won a game show. My Vtech Socrates ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/VTech_Socrates ) was won by the person on What Now.

I paid $200 for the 80's and $75 for the 128, I think
