Well the box is certainly in good condition. One can only assume there is a computer inside. I would expect the price to climb as investment collectors start to take an interest.

Is Venuzula PAL or NTSC? Mind you investement collectors wouldn't be worried because they would never open the box!

Ah true, it's 120v 60hz and NTSC.
Boy collecting would be so much easier in the USA.
If I bought it, I'd open it for sure. Otherwise collectors would be trading boxes that _possibly_ contain a vintage computer :)

Did you see the seller had a quantity of them for sale and that you'd have to buy two to get them as they were originally boxed as two together?

Price looks good for NIB. Nearest thing going on trademe value wise for Atari's at the mo is : http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=311820373 Vintage Atari games consoles x2
Current bid $305, 12 carts, 9 tapes.

I do advise people to move auctions to Computers/Vintage when I see the odd thing which is getting no views or bids, however, having seen a couple high selling auctions placed in the Antiques sub categories, I would probably list here if I wanted to gamble on the best price. Bidders are oft unaware of the vintage computer scene and nostalgic value sure drives the prices upwards.

Crikey!

Keep an eye out on the Antiques section for a small collection in Wellington any day now. ;)

No- not really. I'm not that poor yet.

Well 11 people are interested, but that doesn't mean anything. Many times I've had that many watching and no bids!

Me too. I sometimes think people just like to know how much things eventually go for...hence they watch.

Oh well, at least you have one bid this time so it will sell.
