Two Commodore 1084 monitors - Christchurch Pick up

Hi we've got two Commodore 1084 monitors, one a 1084 and the other a 1084s. both are non functional so either works in progress or parts machines. Must be picked up from Molten Media 205a Wordsworth Street Christchurch Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

First to reply gets dibs.
molten_media on TradeMe, which is also my place of work. No particular interests apart from passing on some of the gems that come through the door.

Thanks, im the guy who paid $256 for a IIe monitor worth $50 BTW hehe :?

Thanks for the monitors :D

I was able to make one good monitor from the two, here it is powered up

(Picture shows my C64 running Dolphin DOS ,it can load 200 blocks in an incredible 5 seconds)

That monitor in the image is the one that had the power cable cut off and the Video port was filled in with glue :shock:

I used the PSU (with cable still attached) from the dead one, and dug the glue out, I saved the socket from the dead
one and I will solder that in place later as the port is still a little of a tight fit, but almost there.

The last owner had gone to some lengths to make sure no one ever powered it up again :!:

its received a second chance....
