Two Apples Alert! for Hamiliton or Auckland buyers

Two Apple 2e's - early PAL's (the good ones)
http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=715725593

2e Green Monitor and Kaga green Monitor

Unidrive and Disk ][ drive (Those unidrives are great for nibble backups)

Both have super serial cards installed

Mouse interface card and Mouse.

One looks like Ramfactor Card (or just large 80 col) cant really make it out for sure, but looks more like Ramfactor.

One has a sticker on the ROM, makes me think "CPU & ROM enhancement kit fitted" ?

Smoke has come out, but smoke comes standard with these Apple's, other one will most likely go up in smoke soon after winner plugs it in :P unless some quick overdue proactive preventative maintance isnt carried out straight away !

Yeah, I'll join ya at $1.50 (Even otahuhu is still at least $20 gas round trip, plus the repair and the trips to jaycar :) )

Yep, I'm from AK. So you've been bidding against Marcus? A year earlier it would have been me, but my Apple II collection is mostly complete.

They're bog standard IIe's to me. I already have similar. I'll have a nudge because they're in AK, but I would bid more determinedly on a IIc+, a "bell and howell" or a dick smith "cat". :D

Also, I don't have quite the desire to have a super-serial in every machine any more since getting CFFA3000's, but the duo-disk might be a nice addition, despite it's reputation for being nearly as flaky as the "profile".

Heh. Berendsen's already up to $150 on two bog standard IIe's of varying condition. Calm down, son. It's only the last bid that counts and there's still nearly a week to go. :)

I want one, I just love the track reset noise on power up :P
Guessing these will go for ~300?

Classic pic Ron - you could setup a classroom with those!
I had a similar moment with my 8088 clones the other week, hadn't really thought about how many I owned until I had them stacked, yet I'd still buy more.

Yep... It's such a great sound!!! The sound of my childhood. The smell gets ya too. Computers just don't smell like that anymore.

Could be around there, especially with one needing repair.
