Thanks for the heads up, I like the price but was hoping to score something a bit more complete. I have a case that could go in but would still need RAM+HDD+most of the accessories to make it go.

May have this sorted... Something 'interesting' popped up on Trademe. Don't have it in my hands yet though.

I have a Celeron 300 (slot 1) here. complete with windows 98.

MB is from a hp PC but put in a normal case, full size MB with 2 isa slots.

running with HP restore disks. 20gig hd and 48 megs ram.

Nah, no Windows necessary. Whatever this thing turns out to be will be dual-booting FreeDOS & Damn Small Linux when I get it up and running.

Probably format the drive as it came in for re-cycle, so has some ones info on it.

The reason I linked to that auction was the machine with it would've made a good tweener and was up your way.

Swivels offer sounds good. Tommo is a man of his word. He sent me quite few 720k 3.5" a while back. We've got a prop. balancer at work that uses them.

Oops! Somehow I completely missed that it came with the PC too. That's what I get for skimming threads when tired. Thanks for posting that up.

Not needed however as the one I found on Trademe shortly after I posted this thread came in finally. Seems like it will do the job, plus it looks like a piece of lab gear which is always a bonus.
