Syquest Drives

SCSI - 200MB or 88MB with "C" on the front (stands for compatible) or 44MB drives.

I have one working 44Mb. One very sick corroded 44Mb, a 200C which wont eject, and a 200C which wont spin up properly (but worked correctly last week). Would be great to get a couple more working drives. I'll be attempting to repair my failing ones but a backup would be nice. I need a minimum of two working units.

Happy to buy untested (as long as price reflects) or trade for stuff.

Hello.

I have a SyQuest 135mb internal IDE with 3 135 disks, Floppy setup disks and Manual.

Make an offer if your keen.

Was going when I packed it up a few years ago.

Thanks for the offer Tomo :) Unfortunately I don't think I'd use a single EZ135. So I couldn't really offer you what it's worth.
I'm using the big 5.25" models to transfer data between rooms. I've got two running 100% now, but now I'm after more drives in case one stops working at some point.

I've also set myself up with Zip100 in both rooms as a fallback, but it doesn't really feel vintage.

Don't know if you've seen this yet - there's a 200MB drive on Trademe right now:

Cheers!
I've become a bit lazy/modern and am now using Zip disks + network (Netware Lite is brilliant for XTs), but I am considering grabbing that drive...
