IBM Model F

Postby Clym5 on Tue Jul 28, 2015 1:51 pm

I'm on the lookout for a Model F to replace my much loved Model M. My fingers ache like nothing else after typing up written drafts for essays, and the cable is pretty much ruined. (I'll fix that, but not for now)

I've tried 6 Cherry MX switches, and I haven't enjoyed any of them. I want to like the blue, but I can't stand it. Feels cheap and flimsy.

I've heard they are even louder than the model M, :D if you find one you should take it to lan party's, school etc. click, click, click....

The Model M already gets complaints and praise at LANs. Bring people from all over the room  I've had to put a pillow over it with my hands under before... I'm currently looking at modern keyboards, but I'm not really liking what I'm seeing, apart from the electrostatic capacities ones. A wee bit out of my price range... ($500!)
