I am going to put forward the suggestion here - is that if anyone has any spare non-working Atari 400/800/etc computer hardware and peripherals etc - that they could consider donating it to the Otago Early Settlers Museum - so that they can put up a decent display with the Laser Hawk and Hawkquest games running. The best way to show these games running is via videotape that I videoed some years ago - that is the only way to quickly show the various parts of the games, within a short space of time.
And I feel strongly that the actual computer hardware etc, should be on display as well. They need not be working devices as such - but just to show what they actually looked like... Andrew did own/use an Atari 400 and Atari 800 computers, with 1050 disk drive and 410 recorder. And an Atari joystick would be nice - as this was the only joystick he used.

Here is a contact for the museum ---- "Peter Read" <pread@dcc.govt.nz>
The museum is being extensively upgraded at the moment, and may be open around mid-year?
