That Spectravideo collection auction

It's quite a collection. http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing ... =628766726 I will be Save As'ing this page for records. In the period of the week I have got a whole bunch of names (I contacted the 4wd guy, and Paul Crabbe again) and information on at least the Dunedin people involved around the Spectravideo User Groups and shops if anyone is interested.

This is the first time I have seen any of these peripherals on auction: a super expander; single slot expander; disc drive. The illusive to find Kiwi Country appears as well, and also a MSX format copy of Aerobat from Pandasoft (AUS) which may be quite rare (I don't look on ebay that often to see how often this type of software comes up but imagine it's more common in OZ). On the software preservation database, only the Sega SC-3000 version is listed, so that may be telling of its rarity.

It has even attracted the interest of an Australia collector who bought a Toshiba HX-10 MSX computer off trademe not so long ago. I didn't see that one - a http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing ... =570883535

I ended up with the lot. Very very happy with that - just waiting for the current owner to ship it up to AKL to me.

I'll report in once I have it here.
