Anybody know "ninca" on Trademe?

by kevman3d » Sat Sep 07, 2013 12:45 pm

...Not that I'm really needing to know, but I'm more curious as every time I go on to Trademe, I spot the words "ZX Spectrum", think "Oh - Cool!" and then discover its this endlessly relisted collection of old cassette software with fairly high prices on them... Kinda destroys the excitement of possibly finding another cheap Speccy to grab.

Prices between $15 to $60 for a cassette tape is (imho) a fairly hefty asking price for that kind of item, but I'm not fussed as I have no plans on buying tapes.

Anyway, just being nosey really...

I bought a PCMCIA network card/modem off them once. I remember them being friendly and quick. Don't really know much about them besides that though.

On the upside, his listings are constant enough you can scroll past. My biggest "gotya" on trademe lately is all the book auctions that don't say 'book' in the title. e.g. "Commodore 64 $1 reserve" *click" "users guide" awww
