Apple Mac SE/30

Not listed in the Vintage section so some might miss it.
I'm not a collector of these early Macs but I gather the SE/30 is considered the best of its class.

Sure is - quite possibly the best Mac ever made. I've got a few of these. Be aware that it will probably need a motherboard recap. The sound starts to fade away, then stops.

Following for interest. I have too many already!!! ;)

would bid myself if only they added the elusive *money shot* of it running ?!@$%# a bit apprehensive
when 9 out of 10 listed have issues !

It should go, but they turned it off to take the photo ? better not ask, lost my kids gloves and will get another kick in the Kn@c&ers :|

besides I prefer Apple //'s and there exploding \!/ power supplies, easier to fix :!:

Agreed. I've been burnt a few times with SE/30s and Classic/Classic IIs. Motherboard batteries destroy the board. Sometimes can be fixed - but only after you pay a premium on Trade Me first.

Best to see it running.

269 trades, 100% positive feedback. I wouldn't be concerned about being duped.

Will be interesting to see if it sells, or if it continues to get relisted.
