I am not to sure about how useful it would be other than performing low level formats... do you think it would work on a Lisa's widget drive... food for thought?

Interesting. No I don't think it will work on a Widget Steven. I've scoured the Internet and posted on a lot of groups about this. While the ProFile drive can be managed, it seems the knowledge/hardware is just not there for low level formatting a widget drive.

The X/Profile emulator card is a good substitute. It's just too quiet!
