Yes, a few recognisable bidders there.
These are nice collectable machines. A littel tricky to work on but not impossible, I have one. It will be interesting to see what it goes for.

One question I would ask is "is a keyboard cord present". I can't see one there? The keyboard normally plugs into the recessed area near the front of the computer?

Good point. Can't see anything. Have asked

Good call. No cord as it turns out.

Yes, from the eBay ones I've seen it's common for the keyboard cord to have gone walkabout.

I've won the second SX-64 without the keyboard cable - they're relatively simple to build replacements for.
At $120 including delivery I'm hoping that I will be able to build a complete working SX-64 with the dead one I have already. Heck - it may even actually go - she does say "it fires up" in the auction

Very good.
They are not too difficult to work on...just a bit cramped inside. Do you have a keyboard cord from your original one?

I have a home-built ribbon cable rather than the original one. I was planning to build a nicer one anyway.

They're not hard for parts either. For the most part it's a bog standard C64 inside, and they're mostly IC compatible with the exception of the basic ROM and some other little bits. Shoot for two of two!

The space bars ALWAYS seem to be far more yellow than the keys on all the second hand models I've seen. Hard to figure out why? A different plastic maybe?
