It appears we've got TradeMe users on bath salts.

Want a $600 bare CD32? or how about a $750 modified Amiga 2000?

No thanks. That's a lotta simoleons for old Commodores.

he has been buying up lots of Amiga stuff cheap , if good relisting as individual items , if not working repairing it then putting it up on TM, not sure he has not got his fingers burnt on a few of them of late, but it seems to be his way of making an income or a top up income.

And now the Amiga 600 for $350 with $450 buy now
http://www.trademe.co.nz/computers/vint ... 070213.htm

a pretty good price for him considering he only just paid $550 for

Amiga A1000, A600, A1200 + 1081, 1084S Bulk!

I'd had to think what he's already sold the Amiga 1000 and 1200 for. You gotta admit, his auctions certainly are standouts.

Seems to be a recurring theme. Since I've been playing with my Megadrive recently I've been trying to pick up some games and noticed the same names time and time again. One chap in particular down here picks up auctions for say, console, some controllers and a bunch of random games for $20, then resells the games for $7 each, hacks in some composite ports and sells the consoles for $50 each, and sells the controllers for $10 each. Little by little he must make a few bob.

I just wish this phenomenon wasn't affecting all of my hobbies so equally.

Someone needs to point out to this guy that he's also devaluing vintage equipment with his hacks.
