TradeMe aliases in our signatures?

Postby tezza on Fri Sep 14, 2012 1:33 pm

I read Andrew's post about the disappointing SE/30

One thing we might like to consider is putting our TradeMe aliases in our signatures. I know some people do this already. There is no guarantee that everyone who uses these forums is a good ethical trader but through their postings and general VC community involvement/enthusiasm you can get an idea who might be. TradeMe items from these people can be purchased with more confidence than unknown traders.

Generally if people have a stake in a forum community like this one they will go out of their way to make sure descriptions are accurate and buyers are happy. I know for myself, I wouldn't want to compromise my standing in the community by providing misleading Trade Me sales blurbs.

I already have mine... I think it's a good idea so that we can shortcut trademe and talk to each other directly... It's quite often that the "questions" facility isn't suitable, or even not available like after an auction closes unsold.
"dsakey" on trademe. Apple II's are my thing.

Complied with. Seems a fair idea.
Just the local Commodore hobo and middle-aged PC hoarder.
