Tezza has PM me and asked me to "tone-it down" ?

To: machinecoder

machinecoder,

Just a gentle reminder to read this
viewtopic.php?f=10&t=81#p3595

The way I read it there has been some misunderstandings on both sides of the questions and answers on this Trade. This happens easily with text. While it's inevitable that seller practices are questioned by people like us interested in these trades, I don't want these forums to turn into flame throwers. It's just a matter of toning it down a bit.

Thank you, Tezza, point taken, I wont post again on the "trademe" section again

Opps, sorry

I dont understand this "Seudo-trademe blog" idea anyway... :?

I'm not saying don't post. I'm just asking (nicely, and what was, until now, also privately) to just be a little more moderate in your comments. It's easy to jump to conclusions about buyers and sellers too quickly and post something fairly strong when in many cases there has just been a misunderstanding or we don't know the full story.

Bear in mind that under NZ law, as the "publisher", I can be held accountable for what gets put on this forum. These messages can (and are) read by anyone, not just us members. My private message to you was just a gentle reminder to keep this in mind.

Is the Monitor III of interest? Two of my IIe's came with them (the other with a generic thing) - I'd prefer a Monitor II on one of them at least. Maybe I should see if they work if there's a chance anyone wants to swap :)

I'm getting there! I've started work on clearing out my backlog of other projects from the workshop so I can start working on the vintage computer gear.
