Arses, Auckland of course. I'd quite like a 1702.
Just the local Commodore hobo and middle-aged PC hoarder.

Why "Auckland of course" ?

While I live in Auckland - I'm not from here so I don't really care - but just curious about the comment.

In terms of the populations, a ridiculously high proportion of the vintage gear seems to come from outside Auckland, and particularly, Christchurch.

The number of auctions I've seen where the machine is in some small rural place and is RABIDLY "pickup only". What is it with that?
(The vendor of a broken IIe with anger management issues springs very recently to mind.)
"dsakey" on trademe. Apple II's are my thing.

I'm on the lookout for one at a reasonable price to appear down here in the Southern North Island. One for the Amiga and the C-64 I've decided my Amiga composite/TV adapter just doesn't cut it.

'Cause it's the polar opposite end of the country to me ;)

It's rare to find any form of vintage computers for sale even remotely locally. It's usually Christchurch, Wellington, Auckland, in that order.
