Hi I've just listed a Machintosh SE model # M5011 on Trademe. I get the following error on boot up 0000000E 00008000 and the drive light flashes red, I had a search but came up with no info on this error code. Any ideas anyone?

Does it help?

As read from the document under the link above...

"Failed Data Bus test. The Z field indicated the bad bit(s) as a 32-bit mask for bits 0-31. This may indicate either a bad SIMM or data bus failure."

On an SE, pulling out the RAM, cleaning the contacts/SIMM trays and carefully putting them back fixes 90% of these errors. I have sometimes needed to replace a couple of SIMMs - but rare.
