If anyone in the Auckland area needs eproms programmed, I am happy to help out, having just added a Willem Programmer to my toolbox.

An upgrade on my ancient PCP-128 ISA bus Prom Blaster of 1985 vintage.

With no shortage of devices with parallel ports, and a need to cover back to 2716's and 25v vpp and a budget means vintage design rules.

I have just tried it out on a 2732A with immediate success.

what model did you get?

as they have a few different ones..

Supposedly PCB5 OE 2018 - the parallel port version.

It seems to be one of the better ones, and I have tested the VPP power with a resistor as load to check for sag.

And it was within budget

I also splashed out on an M328 LCR, Diode, Capacitance, ESR & Transistor Tester kit.

I'm upgrading it to 0.1% resistors, as suggested on a few forums. It seems to work quite well.
