another surprise turned up last week.. also the de-solder units have a glass tube as i found out when cleaning it out and dropped it on the floor.. GLASS really....... not Pyrex or acrylic but normal glass tube... so after looking for something to replace it and the cost of the acrylic tube i found it we the right size inside but too big outside.. so decided to see what i could get on TM and then i found it... 21mm out side and 19mm inside and 200mm long.. enough for 3 tubes.. and only $5 ... thats not bad.. but wait, what thats for 3 x tubes... it seems they are used for display pens. so i now have a load of spare tubes now... and its working good.
