I have a model 30-286 ps/2 which i cannot seem to get to recognise either an I/O card or a sound blaster.

Andy,

Just checking. You have the necessary PC-DOS driver for the soundcard loaded, yes? And have checked for memory and IRQ interrupt conflicts with the ports already in the machine?

I have an issue with my FDD(s) not functioning that is preventing loading any drivers. A proven drive cannot be read/write to reporting not ready.
