Hi guys,

Recently I needed to remove some marker pen from a Trade Me purchase. I've written up the experience. You probably remember the Trade Me listing! :)

Very nice Tezza - good to see how well this worked. Doesn't distort plastics does it? I have a bundle of IBM PC300s (Pentium II boxes) that I was intending on getting rid of, with huge black marker 'EDENDALE SCHOOL MACHINE xx - WORKING' scrawled on top of each... the PC300 of course is plastic shelled with metal inner lining rather than steel shelled...

No, no evidence of any damage/distortion to the plastic. It can certainly affect paint if you pour it on though, so just dab it on sparingly and work on a little of the mark at a time. I did this with the monitor and the paint was fine.
