8-bit XT IDE Controller PCB

This looks very interesting indeed. You can get the PCB for free, but you'll need to acquire the components and program the CPLD yourself. Based on a Vintage Computer forum project from a year or so ago.

Ahh didn't realise you could get free PCBs!

I've been using the AT version of their ROM in my 386 for a while now. Standard 16 bit IDE controller but with a 20Gb LBA drive hanging off it (although DOS can only read 8 ).

I try to keep my 8 bit machines MFM based, but I should really get a couple of XTIDE cards for when that's not an option any more.
