Does anyone have experience with using a PCI breakout box? This machine has both a Cardbus slot and an internal mini-PCI slot. Reading around it looks like both these options are PCI standard compatible.
Something like this:

Mini-PCI
Here's the kicker, I need seamless DOS support, i.e. things I plug in should act at the hardware level like a standard PCI card plugged into a desktop system with no extra drivers or TSRs needed. (The PCI docking station on my other laptop works this way.)
(I'm guessing there's virtually no reasonable way to add an ISA card to a laptop this way, even though the bus is present in its chipset, but it would totally make my day if there were.)
What do you guys think?
